1. The Client
Happy Sweets is a new online confectionery business – selling a range of customised pick & mix boxes to customers across the UK.
It’s the brainchild of graduate entrepreneur Peggy Ullyott. Peggy was in her final year of a Food Business Management degree at Newcastle University when the coronavirus crisis hit.
She had planned to travel the world after graduation, but with opportunities limited, Peggy put the plans on the back burner. Instead, she decided to use her skills to launch a new online food business at the start of 2021.
The result was Happy Sweets, where customers can create their own sweet boxes, made up from an extensive selection of popular confectionery - with vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free options available.
2. The Brief
Happy Sweets is a 100% online business – so having a great looking, easy to use and dependable site was essential.
After developing the branding herself, Peggy had a vision for how she wanted the site to look, work, and feel. The site needed to offer an easy custom ordering system, where customers could choose the sweets they wanted for their box.

3. The Results
Working together with Peggy, we brought her vision to life in a vibrant, modern, and easy to use website that showcases the sweets and custom box creation that sets Happy Sweets apart.
As part of the build, we integrated an ordering system designed to make it quick and easy for customers to pick their favourites and create their boxes. The site went live in April 2021, and the orders are already flooding in.
